What is Rotary?
Rotary is an international service organisation, a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders and problem-solvers, who seek to make a difference in the world and the local community.
We see a world, where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects.
Rotarians develop service projects to address local community needs and also tackle the world’s most critical issues, together. This includes programs to mitigate poverty, hunger, illiteracy, violence, and helping the environment and children at risk.
