This is Who We Are

This is where we meet

The Rotary Club of Karrinyup was chartered in 1974 and currently meets on Wednesday evenings at 6.00pm for a 6.30 start. It works in and with both the local and International community to make the world a better place one project at a time.

Description

Located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, our major fundraiser at present is the operation of the Stirling Farmers' Market, held in the City of Stirling Car park on Sunday mornings. In previous years we operated a Food Van at the Rotary Club of Scarborough's weekly Car-Park Market and an Annual Community Fair held in April.

Our Community Service beneficiaries include but are not limited to: Australian Rotary Health Fund, Foodbank WA, Australian Alzheimer's Research Foundation, Karrinyup Community Men's Shed, Riding for the Disabled Carine, Trigg Island Surf Life Saving Club, Salvation Army and Camp Quality.

In addition our International Service arm supports Polio Eradication, Interplast, Shelter Box, Wheelchairs for Kids as well as projects in Africa. Our Youth Service committee supports Rotary Youth Exchange, National Youth Science Forum, ConocoPhillips Science Experience, Rotary Adventures in Citizenship and Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment.  Our Club Service and Membership Committee keep our meetings lively and interesting.
