Club Service covers all those roles and committees, which deal with the internal administration of club affairs.
Objectives of the Community Service Committee are to review service opportunities within our community; to identify community service projects through Rotary programs at local and international level and to identify appropriate recipients of club donations, so they can help make a difference in our community.
Rotary International’s new area of focus is caring for the environment in ways, which will bring about positive change in the world. RC Karrinyup’s Earth Committee is charged with working on projects designed to reduce our impact on the environment and to adopt practices that use resources sustainably for our immediate survival and future generations.
The aim of International Service is to encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship united in service. It serves to promote the work of the Rotary Foundation.
The club promotes an active and growing club membership, encouraging both quality and diversity, in particular the attraction of younger members.
The public image of the club defines how it is perceived by the community. This committee works to promote a positive public image in the local and wider community. RC Karrinyup website is our window to the world, while our club and Stirling Farmers Market social media pages also promote who we are and what we do.
Stirling Farmers Market Management
The goal of the Stirling Farmers Market Management committee is to raise sufficient funds to support the club’s many charity and service projects.
The goals of Vocational Service are to involve our club in a worthwhile vocational project establishing networks to help the local community, to raise the image of Rotary within our state and to promote a regular member Vocational Update program so as to be informed on the current and future movements of industry.
