Dr. Michael Chin, a long serving General Practitioner in the Karrinyup area, was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Karrinyup serving the Club in various roles and was the first member of our Club to be named a Paul Harris Fellow. He passed away in 1998. The Michael Chin Humanitarian Award was created in 2000, in his name, to honour outstanding individuals, who serve the community and those in need, for their humanitarian and volunteer activities. Recipients are those whose daily dedication epitomises the highest standard of quality and personal commitment.

RC Karrinyup is pleased to announce the 2024 recipient of the Dr Michael Chin Humanitarian Award is Janine Wood, Chairperson & Co-Founder, No Limits Perth.
