Items Donated to Hospital
Once again the fabulous students from Churchlands SHS community service group have donated some wonderful gifts to the community. Our community service team assisted their endeavours by delivering two bags of beautifully knitted beanies and bootees for premature and new born babies to the King Edward Memorial Hospital.
These bootees and beanies, as well as a beautiful bunny comfort blanket, were all knitted by the students. The hospital was not only very grateful for the donation but was very complimentary on the quality of the knitted items.
The majority of the items will be used by the nurses in the premature and new born wards, while some will be sold in the hospital gift shop with all the proceeds being donated to the hospital.
