Helping Homeless Youth

Passages Resource Centre provides marginalised and street present young people with a "passage" to help them to transition from one life to another. Young people are helped to get off the streets and adopt safer and healthier lifestyles.

Passages looks for support and opportunities to make a difference through:

  • Corporate volunteering opportunities exist. To get involved in a volunteering capacity call the St Vincent de Paul Society on (08) 9475 5400 and ask to speak to the Volunteer Coordinator or email volunteer@svdpwa.org.au.
  • Material Donations such as travel size toiletries, socks, thongs, blankets, clothing and towels help provide young people with much needed dignity, hope and respect.  If you have material items to donate call the St Vincent de Paul Society on (08) 9475 5400 and ask to speak with the Community Fundraising Coordinator or email fundraising@svdpwa.org.au.
  • Passages recognises the importance of developing and nurturing strong links with the corporate and philanthropic sectors to continue to help make positive changes in the lives of young people.  For further information on Corporate and Community Partnerships call the St Vincent de Paul Society on (08) 9475 5400 and ask to speak to the Manager of Public Relations and Fundraising or email partnerships@svdpwa.org.au.
  • By supporting events such as the Passages Race Day and Vinnies CEO Sleepout you will be helping to support the valuable work of Passages Resource Centre Northbridge and Peel.  Visit the Events tab to find out more about how you can help.
  • Financial Donations help support the work of Passages.  The service relies on the generosity of others to continue to provide assistance and friendship to disadvantaged young people. Gifts of $2 or more are tax deductible.  For assistance with making a donation to Passages or to update your details on our database call the St Vincent de Paul Society on (08) 9475 5400 and ask to speak to the Donations Officer or email donations@svdpwa.org.au.
