Rotary Foundation Alumni of WA Reconnect 2022
An initiative of President Peter Durrant, RC Karrinyup was delighted to host a Rotary Foundation Alumni of WA Reconnect 2022 dinner at our lovely venue at the Marmion Angling and Aquatic Club (MAAC). Unfortunately, Peter was unable to attend due to being in isolation as a COVID close contact but was ably represented by President Elect Jenni Wilke, who extended a warm welcome to the visitors.
Together with family and friends of our RC Karrinyup members and Foundation Alumni there numbered seventy-two people in attendance. Guest Speaker Richard Court's excellent presentation entitled 'Our Asian World Post COVID' was very relevant and most interesting. The presentation was captured on zoom for the benefit of those in isolation.
Rotary Foundaton Alumni of WA President Bill Hassell was delighted with the event and has requested our club consider making this and annual affair. The projected date is the week before Easter each year.
